Landtechnikvideos was founded by Jörn and Tammo Gläser. These independent German film makers have a passion for agriculture that dates back to a childhood spent driving tractors on their uncle’s dairy farm.
They started to capture footage back in the early 2000s and their first compilation was released on VHS tape! This led to the release of their first farm machinery DVD – “Autumn 2003 – Beet Harvest in Focus” produced from their home.
Over the years, their filming horizons expanded to Canada and the United States and two of their farm machinery DVDs “Farming in North America” Volumes 1 and 2 were translated into English and French to cater to a growing international audience.
And as the saying goes, the rest is history. The brothers have now filmed in more than 25 different countries across six continents and their content is distributed through multiple platforms. Their German language YouTube channel boasts 288K subscribers.
Fans from all over the world visit Farmworld.tv to view the 21,446 images and videos showcasing agricultural technology and the latest AI-driven innovations currently offered in 1,136 galleries. This reach demonstrates the immense popularity of their productions.
Since their first meeting at the Landtechnische Unternehmertage in Würzburg, AgroLingua and Landtechnikvideos have cooperated in a customer/vendor relationship which later evolved into a strategic partnership.
Both companies believe in the power of independence, reliability and a positive image. Their cooperation serves to strengthen that image in the market.
Landtechnikvideos is a respected and established name in the market. This one-stop service for film production offers brand-independent film production services. This objective position is highly valued within the industry.
AgroLingua is the preferred, regular supplier of all translation work for Landtechnikvideos. The content is usually translated into English and French, and, when needed, into Italian and Spanish.
Landtechnikvideos: “Landtechnikvideos.de and the international spin-off farmworld.tv are known worldwide for producing in-depth, independent documentaries that highlight the many facets of agriculture and agricultural technology.
The documentaries, which vary in running time, are released on DVD and video-on-demand and are translated from German into at least four other languages including English, French, Spanish and Italian.
Before partnering with AgroLingua in 2016, we used the services of a general translation agency with no specific agricultural expertise. The quality of the basic translation work was acceptable, but there was a clear lack of expertise regarding the technical terminology.
AgroLingua has helped us refine and localise the texts for international audiences.
Viewer feedback is extremely positive. So we naturally entrusted AgroLingua to translate the content of our highly successful German YouTube channel into English and French.
This content is freely accessible enabling everyone to appreciate the amazing films and the high quality of the translations provided by AgroLingua.”
A strategic partnership delivers clear advantages for AgroLingua and Landtechnikvideos:
