My name is Shannon Franssen, I’m 26 years old and for the upcoming three months I will be an intern in project management at AgroLingua.
It’s the last year of my studies at the School of Translation and Interpreting in Maastricht, where I’ve been studying Spanish and English.
Years before I started my studies, I already really wanted to learn Spanish someday. This school was the perfect place to start.
I’ve always had a passion for languages, but I also found out that project management at a translation agency is an even better fit for me.
When I’m not at my internship I like to swim, go to the gym, cook, I have a job on the weekends and of course I’m trying to keep up with my DuoLingo streak. I definitely keep myself busy at all times.
I don’t know a lot about the agricultural sector, but I’m certain I’m going to learn a lot about it at AgroLingua.
I’m curious which types of texts I’m going to encounter during my internship. One thing I’m absolutely sure about, is that they’re not all about cows!
